Family Favourite Wanderland Set to Delight Poulton Again as General Ticket Sales Open
Wanderland will return to Poulton‑le‑Fylde this summer for its third and biggest year yet, bringing a full day of family‑friendly entertainment to Cottam Hall Playing Fields on Saturday 25 July. Presented by Wyre Council, the much‑loved festival continues to grow in popularity, welcoming families from across Lancashire and beyond.
Following a successful early bird sale, tickets for Wanderland are now on general release, priced at £10 per person. The all‑inclusive ticket gives families access to the full day of entertainment, with all performances, attractions and activities included at no extra cost. Designed to be affordable, simple and stress free, Wanderland offers outstanding value and an action‑packed summer day out for families of all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a packed programme of live entertainment throughout the day, with something for all ages. Family favourite Peppa Pig will appear in interactive stage shows, while the K‑Pop Superstars tribute show brings high‑energy choreography and chart‑topping hits to the main stage. Audiences will also be amazed by the Black Eagles, an internationally renowned African acrobatic and dance troupe. Meet‑and‑greet opportunities with Peppa Pig and the K‑Pop Superstars add an extra touch of magic, alongside roaming performances, mini‑theatre shows and surprise appearances from characters including Moana, Cinderella, Ironman and Captain America, — with even a giant dinosaur and bubble act popping up across the site.
Away from the performances, families are encouraged to get hands‑on with a wide range of activities. Highlights include circus skills workshops, a penalty shoot‑out with Poulton FC, the popular Animal Roadshow, a 70‑foot inflatable assault course, inflatable play zone, free face painting, craft stalls and selfie stations. A great variety of food and drink vendors will be available throughout the day, along with a licensed bar for adults.
Wanderland is easy to reach by public transport or car. Visitors can arrive by train at Poulton‑le‑Fylde railway station, which is near to the festival site. For those driving, free parking is available at Blackpool Sixth Form College, with a free shuttle bus service running throughout the day directly to Cottam Hall Playing Fields, helping make the day as smooth and stress‑free as possible.
Cllr Lynne Bowen, Leisure, Health and Community Engagement Portfolio Holder, said: “Early Bird tickets have sold really well this year, which has been fantastic to see. Wanderland was designed as a flagship event for the district, so it’s great to see Wyre firmly placed on the map thanks to its success. We’re really looking forward to welcoming families back for another brilliant day this summer.”
